Carson Pynes
​

Carson Pynes is a social worker and grant writer with a background in ESL and Montessori education. She has lived in Ireland and South Korea and is currently pursuing an MFA at Northern Arizona University. Her work has appeared in Speculative Nonfiction, Menacing Hedge, Sixfold, The Nasiona, and the book Sisters Born, Sisters Found: A Diversity of Voices on Sisterhood. Her latest poetry can be read in issue thirty-six of The Racket Journal. Apprentice beekeeper. Textile and mixed-media visual artist. Voracious reader. She lives with her partner and two beings who, at first glance, appear as rescue dogs.
